Brooke Gautreau, CAC Residential Counselor

Brooke Goodwin serves in the capacity of residential counselor at our Ascension campus. Born and raised in Rayville, LA, Brooke found recovery on August 22nd, 2018, and has dedicated herself to helping others find the same. Brooke graduated with a bachelor’s in science of psychology from Northwestern University. She is currently in graduate school at the University of Louisiana Monroe to pursue a master’s in clinical mental health counseling. Brooke initially started her career in the recovery field as a call center representative and later worked as an intake coordinator before becoming a counselor. Brooke assists in helping the clients find purpose in their lives by utilizing various therapeutic techniques that meet each client’s needs. Brooke prides herself on having an unconditional positive regard for her clients. In her free time, Brooke enjoys traveling with her family and husband, and being of service in her recovery community. She is credentialed as a Certified Addition Counselor (CAC) through the Louisiana Addictive Disorder Regulatory Authority (LADRA).
