Amanda Kennedy Director of Admissions

Amanda Kennedy is a lifelong resident of Springfield, LA. She has a Bachelor’s degree from Southeastern Louisiana University and is currently pursuing her Masters in Business Administration. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends and her four year old son Wyatt Kennedy. Amanda came to the Grove to start her recovery journey in September 2020. She began working for the Grove in August 2021. She started as a unit tech, moved up to an Admissions tech and was recently promoted to Admissions Coordinator. “Its truly rewarding to see things come full circle, to see the growth in others, continuing to give back to a fellowship and a program that helped me find my purpose in life. I just want to be a light in someone else’s darkness, to continue sharing my experiences, strength and hope to others.”
