Brandon Prettelt, CIT Residential Counselor

Brandon Prettelt is an Ascension Parish native. Born and raised in Gonzales, LA, Brandon is a proud alumnus of St. Amant High School. Initially starting out with The Grove as a Behavioral Health Tech, Brandon realized that impact that he can have on others in sharing his story of  battling 20 years of addiction, finding recovery and giving back to the community. Brandon realized that he has the ability to point others in the right direction while connecting to his hometown roots for those local to the area. With this motivation, Brandon secured his Counselor in Training designation from the Louisiana Addictive Disorder Regulatory Authority (LADRA) in 2022 and now serves as Counselor for clients entering into our program. When not working with others in the recovery community, Brandon enjoys bowling, Star Wars, and spending time with his beautiful wife of three years, Chelsea.
