King Cannon, Peer Support Specialist Admissions Tech

King Cannon was born in McRae, Georgia. As a person in recovery, King had quite a journey before getting clean. Using for over 30 years, in and out of treatment many times. King finally decided he needed a complete change- surrendering to God and coming to Louisiana in July of 2020 to admit to treatment. Following treatment, King lived in sober living 2 years. He’s proud to say in recovery he’s accomplished many things so far- he started new meetings that are still doing good, he’s held a position on the world convention committee, and he earned a credential as a Peer Support Specialist. King states that he loves the fellowship and even more loves helping those that still suffer find recovery. Personally, King has two children, one having passed away in car accident a little over a year ago and one lives in Sandy Springs, GA.
