Staci Strate, CIT IOP Counselor

Staci was born in British Columbia, Canada, and moved to Rayne, Louisiana in 2001 before settling in Breaux Bridge in 2016. She is a CIT and currently works as an IOP counselor at The Grove. Staci is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Addiction Studies at Northwestern State University, with graduation expected in December 2025. She plans to continue her education by earning a Master’s Degree in Addiction Counseling, with a dual focus on substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders.
Although not in recovery herself, she has witnessed firsthand the profound impact that addiction can have on families and loved ones. This perspective fuels her deep sense of empathy, compassion, and kindness in her work. Guided by a person-centered approach, she treats every client as a unique individual deserving of personalized care and respect. Dedicated to fostering growth and healing, she strives to help clients recognize their self-worth, realize their potential, and move forward with dignity and hope.
