Georgianna Venable, CIT IOP Counselor

Georgianna Venable is a 46-year-old woman from Avoyelles Parish. She is the mother of one living daughter and a granddaughter, and she carries the loss of a deceased son. Having faced her share of addiction, grief, and hard seasons, Georgianna found recovery after the deaths of her son and her husband in 2022. She is now a Counselor-in-Training (CIT), certified in MRT, and working toward earning her RAC.
Georgianna believes she has lived in the darkness—and that God met her there with grace, pulling her back into the light and reminding her that she is worthy and deserves more. Today, she uses her story to serve others, reaching down for the hands stretched out and doing her best to help people find solid ground and a new way forward.
