Julie Arceneaux is 35 years old,and a mother who was born in Baton Rouge, La and although raised mostly in the south Julie did some moving around due to having a Dad that served in the army and a Mom that worked in healthcare. Julie attended Dutchtown High School in Geismar, La most of high school years but ended up graduating her senior year from Sorenson’s Ranch School in Utah with the class of 05′. Julie also graduated from Ascension Technical College before it shut down. With a certificate in Dental Assisting. Julie realized after trying numerous paths in careers she could use her past struggles and  experiences to bring others strength and hope. Not only in her everyday life but in her work life also! This prompted Julie to pursue her passion in a career in recovery work. Julie has taken and completed classes towards her C.I.T with the goal of working as a substance abuse counselor one day. Julie has now gone from a detox tech to being our current PSA coordinator . One of Julie’s favorite quotes ” We walk hand in hand with the Spirit of the Universe as we Trudge the Road of Happy Destiny.”  ( A.A. big book) and her favorite scripture that she holds on to with this promise from her higher power is ” For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. ” They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.”(Jeremiah 29:11.)
