Andrew Dietz is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW). He graduated from Louisiana State University in Spring, 2021 and was the recipient of the Behavioral Health Workforce Education and Training Grant. Andrew was drawn to social work because of his own history of addiction. As a social worker counseling fellow addicts, he aims to help his clients find their path to long-term sobriety. In addition to 12-step facilitation, Andrew uses modalities such as motivational interviewing and mindfulness to help clients uncover their reasons for change and develop new coping skills to employ when faced with the challenges of life. Originally from Iowa, Andrew enjoys exploring his new home state of Louisiana, playing music with his wife, and debating which state produces superior sweetcorn with other Midwesterners.
